Core Performance Volleyball Academy is seeking dedicated coaches committed to the next generation of volleyball players. Our goal is to develop athletes not only as skilled players but also as confident and resilient individuals.

We firmly believe a coach can have a significant impact on the lives of their athletes. By providing support, guidance, and encouragement, a coach can help young athletes develop important life skills, achieve their goals, and become the best versions of themselves.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a positive role model for young athletes.

  • Foster a sense of community and belonging

  • Implement practice plans that focus on skill development and teamwork.

  • Teach players the fundamentals of volleyball, including serving, passing, hitting, and setting.

  • Develop players' physical and mental abilities through conditioning and training exercises.

  • Motivate and encourage players to work hard and enjoy the game.

  • Ensure the safety of all players.

Qualifications:

  • Experience playing and/or coaching volleyball, college athlete preferred

  • A positive, energetic cheerleader

  • Ability to teach and communicate effectively with young athletes, parents, and other coaches

  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills

  • Ability to motivate and encourage players

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

Has high-level experience with the game. Experienced coach and/or college athlete.

 

Is Patient: A coach who works with young athletes must be patient and understand that every player learns at a different pace. A coach who is patient will be able to provide individual attention and support to each player, ensuring that every athlete develops at their own pace.

 

Has a Positive Attitude: A positive attitude is contagious and can inspire young athletes to work harder and achieve their goals. A coach who brings a positive attitude to practices and games can help young athletes build confidence and develop a love for the sport.

 

Is a Great Communicator: Effective communication is essential for any coach, but it is particularly important when working with young athletes. A coach who can clearly and effectively communicate instructions, feedback, and expectations can help athletes reach their full potential.

 

Is Enthusiastic: A coach who is enthusiastic about the sport and coaching young athletes can inspire their players to love the sport and work hard. They create a fun and positive environment that encourages athletes to do their best.
